JenniferJennifer has always wanted to be an multi-tasking superstar. In her youth she discovered a wide range of musical styles, including Afro-Caribbean rhythms like salsa, merengue and the bachata as well as mainstream music , like pop, hip-hop and R&B. Even though she was a big lover of music, her attraction to the movie industry was also high. West Side Story, a musical written by Rita Moreno (1961), was her most significant source of inspiration. At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Alongside being a talented entertainment artist, Jennifer was also a Catholic schoolgirl. She attended for eight years in a Catholic elementary school named Holy Family which was located within The Bronx, before graduating from an all girls prep school, Preston High School after four years of attendance. Jennifer performed well in the sports department at school and participated in the track and field, tennis and volleyball. When she was in Castle Hill, she spent the majority of her time in a 2-story residence. After turning 18, Jennifer moved out of her parent's house. In the meantime, Lopez worked at a law firm , while taking dancing jobs at night.
