Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born singer. Her birth date was 25, December, 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox went to Lennox's Royal Academy of Music, London in the 1970s. She was a harpsichord student as well as the flautist piano for three years. She was able to survive on a student salary and part-time work in order to make ends meet. Lennox believed that her abilities weren't as good as those of the Royal Academy classmates. So she began thinking about other options she could pursue. Lennox played the flute in the 1976 group called Dragons Playground. She quit the band before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent show. From 1977 until 1980 she was main vocalist of The Tourists, a British pop group. It was during this time that she came across Dave Stewart with whom she would form Pop duo Eurythmics. Then, Lennox began working on her solo first album Diva that was released in 1992. The album had a tremendous success both critically and commercially. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo album was released in November 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her favourite blues and soul tunes. Lepidoptera is a collection of four improvised tracks for piano that Lennox has released in May 2019. The E.P. She released her first solo album, which was released in conjunction with her art work in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, titled "Now I Let You go." Annie Lennox (born December 25, 1954) is an artist from Scotland. Scottish musician and political activist. The Tourists gained some minor notoriety for Dave Stewart's work throughout the 1970s. They went on, during the 80s, to be the cult duo Eurythmics. Lennox made her debut as a solo artist in 1992 with the release of Diva that featured a number of successful songs like Why as well as the song Walking On Broken Glass. Medusa, a 1995 studio album that features covers of songs such as No More I Love Yous as well as A Whiter Shade of Pale. She has released six solo studio and compilation albums.
